I don't like this one as much. Even if the diffusion is done, I always find it a shame to dilute essential oils in water. Moreover, the heat can denature the essential oils.

Dilution in a carrier oil:  

Mix a few drops of essential oil with a vegetable oil (jojoba, sweet almond, apricot kernel, etc.) before applying it to the skin. Respect a ratio of approximately 1% to 2% of essential oil in the mixture (i.e. 6 to 12 drops for 30 mL of vegetable oil).
