Description: Madagascar Pink Berries, often called Pink Pepper even though they don't belong to the pepper family, are gastronomic gems, prized for their brilliant color and unique flavor. Derived from the anacardiaceous plant shinus molle, they give off a sweet-peppery fragrance with nuances of turpentine, resinous and red fruits. Unlike their Brazilian cousins, they have a sweeter, slightly acidic edge, evoking a delicate combination of anise and sugar.
Goes wonderfully with : Fish and seafood, Salads, with fromage blanc and goat's cheese.

The legend tells that ...
... The Red Parrot sailed the stormy seas under the command of Mary Read, a female pirate with an untamed heart. Disguised as a man, she plied the waves alongside notorious pirates Calico Jack and Anne Bonny. In the thrill of battle and the roar of cannon, Mary found loyal comrades and a freedom she'd never dared dream of.
But one autumn night in 1720, fate struck. Captured by the Jamaican authorities, the trial for piracy sealed their fate. Mary and Anne escaped the gallows, pregnant, but freedom was now a distant dream.
In the folklore of the seas, the glow of the Red Parrot continues to shine, a symbol of rebellion and freedom. The echo of Mary Read still echoes across the Caribbean waves, a reminder of the courage and adventure that lurks in the souls of intrepid heroes.
This is just a story, a legend... But in every legend lies a piece of truth
